AI Agents & Automation
Building, orchestrating and shipping autonomous AI — agent frameworks, workflow automation, and the engineering practices that hold up in production.
The agents outpost is for people putting autonomous AI into production. Multi-agent orchestration is no longer an academic toy: LangGraph has become the default runtime for stateful agent workflows, CrewAI keeps the role-based prototyping path open, and Microsoft's Agent Framework (the AutoGen successor) is the path of least resistance for Azure shops. Behind all three sits a fast-maturing layer of evals, tracing, guardrails, and cost controls that most teams underestimate until their first agent goes sideways at 3 a.m.
Automation here is broader than RPA. Traditional bots are not going away — the RPA market is still growing through 2026 — but the smart pattern is fusion: deterministic RPA for the structured paths, agentic AI for the reasoning, decision-making, and the long tail of edge cases nobody documented.
On the engineering side, we cover the practitioner stack: prompt design, RAG architectures, eval pipelines wired into CI, LLM observability with tools like Arize and Fiddler, canary and shadow deployments for model versions, and the LLMOps patterns that separate a demo from a system you can leave running. Expect framework reviews, post-mortems, code-first walkthroughs, and meetup recaps from builders who have shipped.

Agentic Process Automation Quietly Replacing RPA in Greenfield Enterprise Work
Industry data shows enterprises are no longer ripping out existing RPA estates, but greenfield automation projects increasingly skip pure rules-based bots in favour of agent-led workflows that handle exceptions natively.
